I BLOG about my journey from domestic abuse to peace and security, and other related issues, thoughts and insights. I also hope to highlight what I think the Bible says about domestic abuse, love, self esteem, relationships, the kind of life God wants us to live, forgiveness, submission and more. To find out more about me see the Who? post.
The Reviews page is regularly updated with reviews of books, CDs, websites, DVDs, and so on that have inspired, informed and helped me on my way, or would be useful for ministers and those supporting Christians who have experience of abuse. If I come across any that I think are less than helpful I will give them a mention too. Stop by and add any of your own recommendations or thoughts in the comments section.
I hope to encourage churches and Christians to condemn domestic abuse through their faith (see Ti Resources and Calling all Christians), encourage links between churches and community organisations that deal with domestic abuse, and resource them both to promote Christianity as empowering women to live in welfare, peace and hope (Jer 29:11).
I hope these pages inspire you… I actively encourage comments and feedback so:
- Read something you agree or disagree with? – post a comment
- Read something that made you think? – post a comment
- Something to share? – post a comment or Contact Me
It is fine to disagree, but it is not okay to be abusive or offensive. Such comments will be removed, and posters blocked at my discretion.
